Time: 12:00
Location: CNS 200
The Center for Faith & Public Life’s Office of Service Learning is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Service Learning Course Development Grants.
For faculty who are interested in developing a new Service Learning course or revising an existing course to include Service Learning, we are offering Service Learning Course Development Grants. These grants and the resulting Co-Mentoring Program have been in existence for 9 years and have led to the development of over 40 service-learning courses. We continue to offer this grant opportunity as our primary pathway for developing sustainable service-learning courses as well as a strong community of scholar practitioners. Each award is $2,750.
The application can be downloaded here. Proposals are due on Friday, April 5th and can be submitted to servicelearning@fairfield.edu.
For those interested in learning more about Service Learning and the course development process, there will be an info session on Wednesday, March 6th at 12:00pm in Canisius 200 (lunch provided).
For additional questions, please contact Andrea Canuel, Associate Director of Service Learning, or Betsy Bowen, Faculty Chair of Service Learning.
