Device Collection Drive: Donate your used electronic devices to community organizations

Date: 05-20-2020

Time: 12:00 PM

Location: North Benson Road Entrance

The Center for Social Impact will be collecting new or used electronic devices for our community partner organizations who are experiencing an increased need for laptops, netbooks, and tablets.

Nursing care/rehab facilities need to provide devices so that those recovering from COVID-19 can still keep in touch with their families when visitors are not permitted. Many of our youth-serving organizations are working to ensure that all students have access to distance learning curricula.

Faculty, staff, or students can drop off donations Wednesday, May 20th and Thursday, May 21th, from 12pm – 3pm. Staff will be stationed near the North Benson Road security kiosk so that donors can drop off items without exiting their vehicles.

PLEASE BE SURE TO DELETE ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM THE DEVICE BEFORE DONATING. Many mobile devices have a “Restore to Factory Settings” option. If you are not able to bring your donations to campus on the scheduled days, please contact Andrea Canuel (andrea.canuel@fairfield.edu) to set up alternative arrangements.

Thank you in advance for supporting our community partners!
