Join CAE for a Workshop on Preparing Adaptable Classes for Fall 2020

Location: Online via Zoom

Building on the initial workshops the CAE held in March which live as a resource on our continuity page (https://wiki.fairfield.edu/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=AA&title=Instructional+Continuity), join us for a one-day workshop that will assist you in creating adaptable and accessible course materials for your fall classes that can be offered in online, hybrid, and face-to-face modalities.  This material will be offered as a single-day workshop, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. during a chosen weekday during the week of June 8th, in an online format containing synchronous and asynchronous components.  This workshop is designed to help you with an initiation into what will become a deep dive into your existing content, learning activities, assessments, and pedagogy, and to provide a framework and support materials for you to continue your subsequent summer planning.  Our aim will be to provide a practical and pedagogically sound framework from which you can work individually with us or faculty with online teaching experience and training to first visualize and then adapt your course to several teaching and learning modalities.

Sign up for workshops at the link below by Monday, June 1 (choosing a first and second choice of date), and we will notify you of your date by Wednesday, June 3.
