Fairfield Stags Youth Soccer Camp

Fairfield University will be hosting a half day boys only mini camp July 20 - July 24

The object of the Fairfield Stags Soccer Camp is to provide fun, instruction and excitement in a closely supervised and organized environment to enhance development as a soccer player. The key role of the camp is to combine learning and improving basic soccer skills with fun skill instruction and games. Position specific sessions allow all campers to receive coaching advice pertaining to the particular position they play. All campers receive a Fairfield Stags Soccer Camp T-shirt and a ball.

Typical Camp Schedule (subject to change)

8:45am Camper drop off / Registration

9:00-9:15am Camp Meetings/Introductions and Demonstrations

9:15-10:15am Skill Instruction

10:15-10:30am Water break/Snack Break

10:30-11:00am Skill/Fun Games

11:00-12:00pm Large Sided Games

12 noon**Pickup from Walsh Athletic Center

All campers should bring proper soccer equipment. Cleats, shin guards and correct clothing. Different footwear may be required for the different playing surfaces (Natural grass, sprint turf, astro turf and in case of bad weather, indoor).

**We will provide each individual camper with a soccer ball on the first day and moving forward in the week, he/she is responsible for bringing that soccer ball to camp.

Campers should arrive with a water bottle clearly labeled with their name. Water will be available at all training sites.

 

Parameters have not changed and they include kids having their temperature taken upon arrival to camp, groups of ten (10) kids or less, camp being no larger than fifty (50) kids, one (1) coach per group of ten (10) kids, among a few others that the state has outlined. There will be no sharing of food, bottles, coolers and we will hold break times outside in shaded areas whilst practicing social distancing. 

 

Anyone with 100+ degree fever will be turned away and unable to participate that day.  This applies to all campers and staff and temperature checks have to happen every day upon arrival.



DO NOT FORGET TO PRINT, FILL & SIGN "WAIVER & RELEASE" + "MEDICAL FORM" and bring it with you to registration!
