Date: 08-07-2020

Time: 01:00 PM

The Center for Academic Excellence is now taking reservations for the third and final offering in a series of workshops on Open Pedagogy, co-sponsored with GSEAP’s Educational Technology program and run by Kevin Corcoran, the Executive Director of Digital Learning for Connecticut and an adjunct professor at Fairfield. An Open Pedagogy Workshop will take place on Friday,August 7, at 1 pm on Zoom.  This 60-minute session will take the form of an active conversation on how to convert current assignments into open pedagogy assignments, and consider the possible tools/platforms to support those efforts as well as the appropriate Creative Commons licensing.

This series of workshops has been made possible by a State of Connecticut grant received by Dr. Joshua Elliott, and is part of a larger initiative on the part of the Educational Technology program, the DiMenna-Nyselius Library, and the Center for Academic Excellence to promote equal access to resources and the sharing of students' academic creations.

To register for the Open Pedagogy Workshop, please visit the CAE’s sign-up page https://www.123formbuilder.com/form-5580442/form. The Zoom link for attendees will be distributed on the afternoon of Thursday, August 6.
