Date: 10-23-2020

Location: Zoom

The DiMenna-Nyselius Library has set the date for the 5th annual Human Library®: Friday, October 23rd, 2020 from 10:00am-12:00pm & 2:00-4:00pm. The event will be held virtually using Zoom and will be open to Fairfield University students, faculty, and staff to participate as “human books” or “readers”.

Sign up to be a human book   https://fairfield.libwizard.com/id/5374b95a3b71e5fbf134236db1359319 and share your personal story to break down stereotypes and prejudices. Training and support will be given to prepare you for your conversations. Deadline to sign-up: Oct. 2nd.

"Readers" will register in advance for a specific human book and will be sent a Zoom link for their 20 minute one-on-one conversation. Book titles and descriptions will be available two weeks in advance of the event date. More information will be sent about registering to be a “reader” later in October.
