Research Help for Students, Faculty, and Staff
Research librarians are available to assist students, faculty, and staff with their research. Librarians can assist with topic exploration, generating keywords and search strategies, finding and evaluating quality sources, and assisting with citation styles.
Research help is available through the following ways:
NEW Zoom Drop in-hours
Schedule a virtual research appointment
24/7 chat box on the library homepage
Text (203) 295-7542
In addition, the library offers:
Tutorials (new tutorials added)
Research Guides by academic discipline
Please consider linking to these in your assignments
First-year students and new transfer students are automatically assigned a Personal Librarian, by their FYE section, and receive monthly newsletters with resources and research tips. Students can reach out to their Personal Librarian to set up an appointment OR use the above mentioned ways to get help.
Faculty members seeking research assistance should contact the Librarian Partner, assigned to their department, or for more immediate help use the 24/7 chat or Zoom drop-in hours.
