Open to all students and majors, the Elevator Pitch Webinar will review business pitch essentials. Then, meet client Alexa Curtis of the Be Fearless Summit and This is Life Unfiltered podcast. Lastly, we’ll go over the pitch contest details so you’re prepared to compete online at our Elevator Pitch Contest on October 21.

About Fairfield StartUp

Fairfield StartUp is a year-long entrepreneurship competition where students create, develop and pitch their own business ideas! Students participating in StartUp work alongside alumni and local business mentors throughout the year to hone their business ideas and pitch presentations skills for the final showcase in April.

The program concludes with the Fairfield StartUp Showcase; a “Shark Tank” style entrepreneurship competition. Fairfield StartUp Showcase 2021 will be held virtually (view our 2020 Showcase series here for an example of the format). Students get the opportunity to negotiate live with investors for seed money to start their business. More than $25,000 was awarded last year!
