Submit your events for FYE credit!
For those that don’t know, all first year students are enrolled in FYE and as part of their passing requirements they must attend 7 events that fall into our three categories: Connect, Inspire, and Thrive. We invite you to read our connect, inspire, and thrive event missions below and determine if any of your events may meet these goals. If you have a thrive event idea that would fit, but wish to collaborate with the FYE team on planning and funding, we are available for partnership.
A Connect event will push students to interact with each other in an informal and casual social activity, allowing them to step out of their residence hall rooms and meet other Fairfield students such as themselves.
An Inspire event will push students to engage in higher learning beyond the classroom, thus motivating them to expand their mind for the greater good.
A Thrive event is intended to reach a critical mass of the first year class, and therefore should be an event that touches on a key part of the university's mission and the mission of the First Year Experience.
To submit a thrive event or propose a collaboration, please email Danielle Parisi, Program Coordinator at email@example.com. The deadline for Thrive Series submissions is August 16th.
