Company members briefly discuss their backgrounds/influences, and how these shape the identity and style of the company. Cast members hail from Brazil, the U.S., Cuba, Honduras, Belgium, and Japan, and are united by a common love for tap dance, percussive expression, rhythmic language, and a desire to highlight tap's history and continued relevance as an African-American art form.
