Calm.com & Higher Ed EAP

As a reminder, as part of the Health and Wellness Committee’s ongoing efforts to address employee wellness, all regular full- and part-time University employees have free access to the Calm app. You will have unlimited access to the full library of content at Calm.com and in the Calm mobile app.  You can access Calm’s features anywhere, at any time.

We recognize that we are facing unprecedented demands and stressors at home and at work, and we are constantly seeking out resources to assist with mental wellness. While Calm is the #1 app for meditation and sleep relaxation, it also includes a variety of tools focused on mental resiliency. Whether you have 30 seconds or 30 minutes, Calm’s diverse content library offers resources that can be customized to suit your schedule and needs. We encourage you to explore guided meditations and specialized music playlists to help with stress and focus, mindful movement video and audio, relaxing Sleep Stories, tailored content for children, wisdom-filled masterclasses led by experts, and much more.

Simply follow the instructions below to gain full access to Calm.

To get started:
  • Visit this link https://www.calm.com/b2b/fairfield-university/subscribe and sign up with your University email address.
  • Once complete, you can download the Calm app and log into your new account.
The University values its employees and their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.  In addition to the Calm tool, employees are reminded that the University offers employee assistance on a wide range of topics free of charge through the HigherEd EAP. HigherEd EAP provides access to problem-solving solutions and life enhancement benefits including wellness information, self-help tools, professional performance resources, and savings benefits. The EAP service is free, confidential, and available around the clock at 1-800-252-4555 or https://www.theeap.com/higher-education-eap.
