Virtual Online Computer Camp and in person Residential and Day Camp at Fairfield University

Location: Bannow Science Building


Directed by Michael Zabinski, professor of engineering at Fairfield, National Computer Camp is America's original computer camp now in its 45th year. The focus of NCC is programming languages, App programming, video game design, web page design, minecraft modding, Arduino programming, and software applications including animation, Flash and graphics. An optional sports program is also available. Each week NCC offers all levels of programming in Python, Basic, C++, Java, assembler, HTML, JavaScript and scratch. The coed campers ages 6-18 may attend one or multi-week sessions with a continuous curriculum that is age appropriate and suitable for beginners to advanced.

Campers may sign up for a virtual camp or in person day camp. A morning only camp is also available for 6 to 8 year old campers. The virtual camp is identical in scope to the in person day camp except the campers communicate from home.

The camp is ideal for both experienced and first time campers.
