STAGiving Day

STAGiving Day is one day of giving when the Fairfield community unites as Stags for Stags to support the student experience.

STAGiving Day has been a tradition for the last seven years, with alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff joining together to support our students and the University’s most critical needs. Many of you have supported STAGiving Day through the years and we are grateful for your generosity.

This year’s STAGiving Day theme Be Inspired was inspired by the anonymous faculty quote that Provost Siegel shared at a recent Town Hall meeting. Over the last twelve months, the campus community has shown resiliency, creativity and flexibility that inspires all of us. 

Who inspires you? This year, we encourage you to make a gift in honor of someone on campus who inspires you. Your gift can be designated to an area on campus most meaningful to you, or one of the STAGiving Day options. An email will be sent to your honoree notifying them that a gift was made in their honor, without noting the gift amount.

In addition to inspiring your colleagues, your gift, of any size, is deeply appreciated and will help us to reach our goal of 1,942 donors, which will unlock $1 million in challenge gifts donated by a group of generous alumni and parents. With a gift of $75 or more, you can choose to receive a Fairfield branded Coleman six-can cooler.

Note: For non-itemizers, the CARES Act allows an above-the-line charitable deduction of up to $300 for single filers and $600 for married couples filing jointly.
