Math Center Opening

The Math Department is excited to announce that the Mathematics Center (NYS  217,  Academic Commons in the Library) is now open for the Fall 2021 semester. The Mathematics Center provides free one-on-one and group tutoring sessions for Precalculus, Calculus I and II, and Statistics.  Please refer students to the website for more information or so they can sign up for an appointment.

 Drop-in Sessions:  Drop-in (group) sessions are online-only this semester.  They are currently available:


Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.


Wednesdays 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.


Fridays 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.


No appointment is needed.  Simply log in to the Math Center website to get the Zoom link and join the Zoom session.


 One-on-One Sessions:  One-on-one tutoring sessions are 30 minutes each and will mainly be held in person in the Math Center, NYS 217, with a few held online.  These sessions are by appointment only.  To make an appointment, log in to the Math Center website and choose an available time slot from the schedule (please note the subject).  Students can make up to 3 appointments per week, as space allows.  Appointments start Tuesday, 9/21.


 Please note: The Math Center will be closed during university holidays, breaks and inclement weather closings.
