Please join us for the Daniel Pearl World Music Days Virtual Concert “Girls in Trouble: Songs about the Complicated Lives of Biblical Women.”  Alicia Jo Rabins is a musician, singer, and, poet. She will perform from Portland, Oregon, her indie-folk song cycle “Girls in Trouble” on Thursday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Creating musical midrashim, Rabins explores the hidden places where biblical women’s lives overlap with her own, bringing a world of ancient stories to life through art, text, and personal reflection.

The Daniel Pearl World Music Days celebrates the life and legacy of slain Wall Street Journal reporter and talented violinist, Daniel Pearl, who firmly believed that music can further cross-cultural understanding.
