Email Status Update
Please be advised that there was a technical issue affecting our email system. This occurred from approximately 12pm Sunday into Sunday evening. The issue prevented some outbound emails (emails outside of Fairfield.edu) from being sent. Inbound email, and email sent to other Fairfield users continued to process correctly.
You may have received notification emails back indicating that your email was not delivered. In partnership with our support vendor, our investigation revealed that some of these emails were delivered after the initial attempt to send, but generated a delayed error message.
To ensure your emails are delivered, we recommend you reboot your computer, and re-launch Outlook. You should then be able to re-send any critical email from that timeframe to ensure your messages are received.
