Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day - RSVP BY 4/5

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce that on Thursday, April 25, 2019, Fairfield University will participate in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.  The theme of this year’s event is Wellness focusing on physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, and financial wellness. 

We invite all Fairfield University faculty and staff to bring your daughter(s) and/or son(s) ages 9 -14, to join us in a special day of learning, enrichment, and fun.

DUE TO THE NUMBER OF RSVP’S THAT WE’VE ALREADY RECEIVED FOR THIS EVENT, THE DEADLINE TO RSVP HAS BEEN MOVED TO FRIDAY, APRIL 5TH. 

We are excited to announce that several departments across campus will host the program! 

8:00am–4:00pm
Visit Joan Finlay in the StagCard Office (lower level of Barone Campus Center) to receive a special Stag ID card.

8:30am–9:30am
Check-in with Human Resources in the Recreational Complex (RecPlex) Lobby to receive a program, gift bag, and lunch voucher.
9:00am-9:10am
Brief introduction by President, Mark Nemec in RecPlex Room L01 (lower level)

9:30am-10:00am
Yoga in RecPlex Room L01 (lower level)

10:00am-11:00am
Physical Fitness (variety of sports including basketball and dodgeball) in RecPlex Fieldhouse

11:15am-11:45am
Nutrition (including a healthy snack!) with Mackenzie Gordon MS, RDN, LDN in the Tully Dining Hall (Barone Campus Center)

12:00pm-12:30pm
Financial Wellness with Michael Puleo in the DiMenna-Nyselius Library - Auditorium Room 101

1:00pm-2:00pm
Lunch in the Tully Dining Hall (Barone Campus Center)

2:00pm-4:00pm
Visit the Stag Spirit Shop, Library (make your own bookmark), Bellarmine Museum of Art (decorate your own small books to go along with the current exhibition), or work with your parents!
