English Prof. Sonya Huber Book Signing

Date: 12-04-2021

Time: 01:00 PM

Location: Fairfield University Bookstore Downtown

Professor Sonya Huber of Fairfield's English Department will sign copies of her new book, Supremely Tiny Acts: A Memoir of a Day, at the Fairfield University Bookstore on the Post Road on Dec. 4 from 1-3 pm. The memoir centers around an action of civil disobedience and arrest during a week of activism in 2019 to support awareness and action on climate change, and the book is written in a stream-of-consciousness style. Author Ander Monson writes, "A day can be made to encapsulate almost everything: the minor (the simple joy of half-and-half) and the major (looming climate catastrophe, parenthood, sexual violence, and what we owe to one another). It’s a thrill when Huber pulls it off.”

Copies will be available for purchase, and you can also purchase a copy via the Fairfield Bookstore online, and Huber will sign it, and then you can pick it up whenever is convenient.
