New Lactation Room at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library

Location: DiMenna-Nyselius Library

The Office of Human Resources, in partnership with the DiMennna-Nyselius Library and Facilities Management, is pleased to announce that a new dedicated lactation room has been designated on campus.   Located on the lower level of the Library (Room 122) the room offers a private space for caregivers to express breast milk and is accessible during Library building hours. The space is equipped with a desk and adjustable chair, electrical outlets, mini refrigerator, and a restroom with a sink. Room reservations can be made online in 30 minute increments up to two months in advance. Special thanks to Christina McGowan and Lisa Thornell for their partnership in this initiative.

There are two other rooms on campus that can be used for lactation - The Wellness Room at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business (Rm 327) and the Wellness Room at the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies (Rm 14).  All three of these rooms are available for employees, students and visitors.
