Calm: Strengthen your relationships—with others and yourself

Mental wellness isn’t just a solo journey, because we don’t exist alone. We live in a network of relationships to family, romantic partners, friends, colleagues and neighbors — some are affirming and energizing, and some can be difficult or painful. The relationships in our lives affect our mental well-being, and the way we connect with others around us has a big impact on our overall health.

This month, we’re inviting you to mindfully explore the relationships in your life, whether you’re enjoying a new romantic relationship, figuring out a new dynamic with your children or parents, handling a difficult work relationship, or even strengthening your relationship with yourself.

Check out these relationship resources from Calm, our mental wellness partner (https://www.calm.com/), to show up for yourself and others mindfully:
  • Experience the power of compassion toward yourself and others with these meditations on forgiveness
  • Build a stronger sense of self-trust and self-worth with the Relationship with Self Series
  • Learn more about the many facets of romantic partnerships — from handling heartbreak to building communication skills — in the meditation series Love and Relationships
