First Annual LAST LECTURE - Dr. Phil Lane

Please join us as we inaugurate a new series at Fairfield University: The "Last Lecture." This series has become a popular event at many colleges and universities throughout the country. While the topic remains hidden until the time of the event, the lecturer will address this question: "If you had one final opportunity to address your students and colleagues, what message would you give?"
Based on voting from students, the inaugural Last Lecturer will be Dr. Phil Lane of the Economics Department. As you know, Dr. Lane has been a distinguished member of the faculty at Fairfield for many years. He is also the recipient of this year's Magis Medal from Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society. Moreover, he is a legend among our students, and so we especially hope that you will encourage them to attend this event.
