Theatre Fairfield Presents PRIDE & PREJUDICE

Date: 04-06-2022

Time: 07:30 PM

Location: Wien Black Box Theatre, Quick Center for the Arts

Theatre Fairfield is excited to present a fun, frolicsome 21st century adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel, PRIDE & PREJUDICE, by American playwright Kate Hamill. Join us LIVE and IN PERSON at the Quick Center for 6 performances, April 6-9 at 7:30 PM and April 9-10 at 2:00 PM or enjoy the show livestream from the comfort of your own home. Tickets for both the in person and virtual performances are now on sale at the Quick Center Box Office, X4010, via the website, or stop by to pick them up: $10 general admission and $5 for students. Fairfield Faculty, as always, are welcome as our guests; please call the box office to secure your free ticket. Since we are committed to the health and well-being of our production company and audiences, we are continuing to offer only 60 socially-distanced seats, with full proof of vaccination and booster required to be admitted to the theatre. Masks are also required of all audience members since safety is our first priority.

You all know the story; come see how we joyfully tell the tale of the Lizzy, Mr. Darcy, and the Bennet Sisters on stage through dance, mayhem, and merriment. Audience favorites Tracy Ferguson, '22, and Carlin Fournier, '22, portray Lizzy and Darcy; the rest of the talented companies doubles and even triples in the other roles: Dima Alibali, '25, Angelo Corsini, '25, Margaret Fishman, '25, Nora Jacobi, '25, Lillie Kortrey, '23, Chase O'Brien, '22, and Emily Sheridan, '24. Mikaela Pratt, '24, is stage managing with her two assistants Avery Divincenzo, '25, and Alyssa Suarez, '25.

For our Friday night, April 8th performance, we are celebrating Jane Austen with a proper English tea following the show and comments before and after from members of the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies faculty and historian Dr. Bill Abbott, who has been graciously working with us on production dramaturgy.

We are thrilled to welcome you back to LIVE theatre to celebrate the joy of  Pride & Prejudice. Please join us!

my best, as always,
Marti LoMonaco, Director
