Phone System Maintenance 6/18/22

The reason for the Downtime:
Updated software needs to be installed on our campus phone system to ensure we stay in compliance with vendor support requirements, and to maintain compliance with current ITS security standards.
The date and time of the maintenance:
Software update will commence at approximately 6:00am on Saturday June 18th. All work is expected to be complete by 4:00PM.
Services that will be unavailable:
- Periodically during the maintenance window all Avaya desk phones, Code Blue, Fax, and other voice communication services will be temporarily unavailable.
- If you need to contact Public Safety for non-emergency needs during this maintenance window please call 203-255-2400 or use the “Live Safe” application. If you have an emergency please dial 911 from your cell phone.
Services that will remain online:
- Network, Internet, Wi-Fi, Cell Phones, and all other data services will be unaffected by the software upgrade work.
- The main number (203-254-4000) will be answered at Public Safety Dispatch.
