Critical System Maintenance Friday, 7/15/22 at 1pm.

The reason for the outage:
Fairfield needs to perform a critical security update to the University authentication system.
The date and time of the shutdown:
The outage will begin at 1pm and finish by 5pm on Friday July 15th.
Services that will be down:
Any systems accessed via my.fairfield.edu and systems that use single sign-on (SSO) will be unavailable.
Services that will remain online:
Banner applications will remain online, however, you will not be able to access these applications via my.fairfield during this outage. Email will remain online and is unaffected by this work, unless you access email through my.fairfield. Please be sure to log in prior to 1pm and remain logged in (leave the window open, do not close your browser, etc.). Note: some applications (Banner, Workday, etc.) have inactivity time outs. If your session times out, you will be unable to log back in during the outage window.
If everything goes as planned:
As soon as the systems are back online, users can log into my.fairfield and access applications as normal.
