Stags in the Field is an on-campus internship program for first-year and sophomore students (non-work study). It gives students an opportunity to apply lessons learned in the classroom and supports the development of Career Readiness Competencies according to the National Association of Colleges and Employer (NACE):  Career & Self-Development, Communication, Critical Thinking, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership, Professionalism, Teamwork, and Technology.


What Is Career Readiness? Career readiness is a foundation from which to demonstrate requisite core competencies that broadly prepare the college educated for success in the workplace and lifelong career management.
