The 5th Annual Canisius Academy Lecture | Ronnate Asirwatham | Network Lobby

Date: 09-22-2022

Time: 07:30 PM

Location: Dolan School of Business Event Hall

Please join us for the 5th Annual Canisius Academy lecture titled “Faith in Action,” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22 in the Dolan School of Business Event Hall. Ronnate Asirwatham will discuss how faith in action connects to policies and politics. This talk will be deeply interesting to students both interested and frustrated by the current intersections of faith and politics in the United States, those seeking to dig deeper in social justice, and anyone eager to learn more about how our government works.

Asirwatham is director of government relations at Network Lobby, an organization that educates, organizes, and lobbies for social and economic transformation. As the lead lobbyist on immigration, she develops and executes strategies to advance the organization’s Catholic social justice agenda on Capitol Hill and within the presidential administration. This event is Free and Open to the Public and offered both on-line and in person. Please register for the on-line portion of the event at www.fairfield.edu/cs
