Exhibit Opening and Humanitarian Welcome Back Lecture 

September 29th @ 7pm  in the Library Multimedia Room


Join us for a special welcome back lecture and art exhibition opening, with Dr. Diana Barnes, Senior Teaching Professor of Spanish at Skidmore College, who will present her work with migrant children at the southern border. The lecture will be followed by a civic reflection led by CARE Team.  


Painting the Border is a 32 paintings exhibit created by migrant children living in shelters or on the streets in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. They reveal images of young migrants' homes, journeys, fears, and hopes.


 This is a FYE INSPIRE EVENT!

Please Note:  The exhibit will be on view in the library throughout the fall semester.   Classrooms adjacent to the exhibit can be reserved if you would like to hold a class session near the artwork.
