"Alumni Stories: Lives That Inspire" featuring Eric Clayton '11

Date: 11-09-2022

Time: 07:00 PM

Location: Zoom

You're invited to join the Office of Alumni Relations for a new virtual spirituality series! This new series, developed in collaboration with Carolyn Rusiackas, spiritual director and former associate director of campus ministry, will explore the lives of alumni whose varied paths following their time at Fairfield can inform and inspire our own lives as men and women for others. Our inaugural event will feature a conversation between Rev. Gerald Blaszczak, S.J., alumni chaplain and special assistant to the president, and Eric Clayton, a member of Fairfield’s Class of 2011.

Eric A. Clayton ’11 is the author of Cannonball Moments: Telling Your Story, Deepening Your Faith (Loyola Press), a meditation on the intersection of personal storytelling and Ignatian spirituality. He is also the deputy director for communications at the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States, where he co-hosts a weekly podcast, produces audio and video content, and manages an award-winning weekly email reflection series. His essays on spirituality, parenting and pop culture have appeared in America Magazine, National Catholic Reporter, US Catholic and more, and he is a regular contributor to IgnatianSpirituality.com and Give Us This Day. He dabbles, too, in speculative fiction, and has been published by Black Hare Press, Medusa Tales Magazine, Erato Magazine and others.

After registering at the Zoom link below, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to join the event.
