Vision Award Reception, Feb 8

On Wednesday, February 8, Fairfield University will host the 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Vision Awards Reception honoring this year’s Vision Award recipients — individuals who demonstrate a commitment to the ideals and values of Dr. King —as well as the winners of the annual essay contest for middle school students. This year’s Vision Awards are being presented to:


Alfred Babo, PhD 
Associate Professor of Sociology and Anthropology

Aliyah Seenauth ’24 
Vice President of FUSA

Julia Duffy, APRN, FNP-BC 
Director of the Health Center

Callie Gale Heilmann and Gemeem Davis 
Co-Directors, Bridgeport Generation Now



The event will feature live music from New Mosaic, presentation of plaques to the Vision Award and Connecticut Post Middle School Essay Contest winners, hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
