Finley's Feet 5K

The Fairfield University Nurse Anesthesia Program Wellness Committee is hosting its second annual 🦶Finley’s Feet 5K 🦶 This event is being held to promote provider wellness and to raise awareness about pediatric brain cancer in memory of Finley Maguire. Finley is the daughter of one of our  Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) at Bridgeport Hospital, Melanie Maguire. Finley unfortunately passed away in the spring of 2021, before her 2^nd birthday, due to a brain tumor. 

This year we are raising money for Fearless Finley 501(3)(c). Fearless Finley focuses on local CT families with young children fighting a pediatric cancer diagnosis with the hopes of easing some of the financial burden associated with the long-term care and support the child will need.

 Finley’s Feet 5K is a family friendly, low stakes 5K with music to follow. Please plan on joining us  to honor Finley and to promote wellness amongst our students, faculty, and community.
