TONIGHT! Dinner & Discussion - Philosophy & Current Events Series: Hope in the Face of Change

Date: 04-19-2023

Time: 05:00 PM

Location: Kelley Center

Join us tonight at 5:00 pm for an evening of dinner and discussion for the second event in our Philosophy Current Event Series - Hope in the Face of Climate Change which will be held in the Kelley Center.

Our speakers include Dr. Andrew Chignell (Philosophy) from Princeton University and Michael Culbertson (Master of Forest Science) from Yale School of the Environment. Students and faculty will have the opportunity to share ideas and discuss the talks in a casual, small group setting. The Humanities Institute and Philosophy Department are excited to host this interdisciplinary event geared towards facilitating discussions across the campus community about the importance of hope in addressing one of humanity's most formidable challenges.

The event is sponsored by the Humanities Institute and the Philosophy Department.
