Location: Zoom

Academic Computing and the Center for Academic Excellence are pleased to announce a new round of Zoom-based workshops on Blackboard Ultra, the modern interface for our learning management system. We invite you to review the sessions below and sign up for those that are of interest. Prior to each session we will email the Zoom link to each set of registrants.

Making the Switch to Blackboard Ultra Course View
Curious about Ultra and how it compares to Original Course View? Join us in this hands-on workshop to learn how to navigate an Ultra Course. We'll cover how to build content, find your course roster, and share a few examples of courses built by your fellow Fairfield University faculty. We will also discuss some of the key differences from the Original Course View and discuss practical strategies for moving or building your course in Ultra Course View. Sign up in advance to be enrolled in a sandbox course and bring your laptop or iPad to follow along.

We'll also walk through the steps to grade an assignment (whether it's an Ultra assessments or a manually created column), provide feedback, and posting the students grades.
