Date: 10-03-2019

Time: 05:00 PM

Location: BCC Dogwood Room

Join us for the Critical Conversations on Radical Hospitality Kick Off Event on Thursday, October 3, 2019 , from 5:00 – 6:15 p.m. in the Oak/Dogwood Rooms.  A reception from 6:15 – 6:45 p.m. will follow.

Fr. James Keenan, SJ, Peter Canisius Professor at Boston College, will deliver a keynote address, “Vulnerable to Radical Hospitality.”  Fr. Keenan is an internationally recognized scholar and theologian whose work includes Jesuit hospitality.

Radical hospitality is the fourth pillar of Fairfield University’s Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Mission Statement.  This event kicks off a year-long engagement with this idea across campus.  Participants at the event will be called to action to form or join groups to further the conversation.  This event is open to all in our community and is a Thrive/FYE event.
