As part of our Common Ground Lecture Series this year, the College of Arts and Sciences is co-sponsoring with the Quick Center for the Arts an Open VISIONS Forum on “American Democracy a Year from 2020.” This panel will feature several leading intellectuals and journalists and provides a look at the topic of American democracy as we head into what is clearly a critical election year.

This event will feature noted writers and thinkers, E.J. Dionne (Washington Post, Brookings Institute, and Georgetown), Heather McGhee (former president of the Demos Foundation and current Senior Fellow) and Miles Rapoport (Senior Fellow in American Democracy at the Ash Center of the Harvard Kennedy School).

Any student who is interested in ethics, writing, Communication, Politics, journalism, and humanitarian causes should attend. Please encourage student participation in this important and vital discussion.
