Join us for the first event in the Fairfield StartUp program!
The Elevator Pitch Contest allows students to practice selling an idea for cash prizes!
Learning the Art of the Elevator Business Pitch:
- Starting at 10am students learn about Elevator Pitch Essentials. Dr. Chris Huntley will review the basics of prepping and delivering an elevator pitch.
- Client Q&A: Take part in a real client Q&A where you will learn about the company you’re pitching for.
- Join Your Team – Craft Your Pitch! After you’ve gathered your information from the client Q&A, pair off into teams to prep and practice pitches for the client's company for the competition!
- Each team pitches privately to the client and a panel of faculty and alumni judges for scoring. The top three teams will win $500 each! Winners will be invited to pitch again live at the Showcase for an additional $1000 prize based on audience vote.
