Theatre Fairfield is excited to welcome you to our first production of the season, DollHouse by Theresa Rebeck, directed by Jan Mason.
Rebeck's contemporary adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic play, A Doll's House (1879) sheds a fresh new light on Nora's struggle to reclaim herself. In this version, Nora is a high-society woman in the Connecticut suburbs: her children are cared for by a nanny, her husband’s best friend is in love with her, and her stifling marriage is crumbling. She also has a terrible secret. Her perfectly curated life rests precariously on a foundation of lies.
