Studio Art Visiting Artist Series: Terry Conrad

Heirloom is an exhibition of recent works by artist Terry Conrad, inspired by scientific research. The works include large time-based tools used to make prints, as well as traditional and experimental instruments. These time-based printing "presses" are slow and inefficient tools built of found objects that are human scale that ask the viewer to "slow down". The exhibition will include a sound element where Conrad has selected a few musical and sound composers to create new works with instruments that are on view in the exhibition.
