Join us for a celebration and book launch of Norse Mythology: The Gods, Goddesses, and Heroes Handbook (Simon & Schuster) written by DiMenna-Nyselius Library staff member, Kelsey Fuller-Shafer, PhD.

4:00 - 4:45pm : Book discussion, reading, Q&A

4:45 - 5:30pm : Reception. Copies of the book will be for sale.

About the Author: Dr. Kelsey A. Fuller-Shafer is the Access Services Supervisor at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library. Previously, she spent several years as an instructor of Nordic and Scandinavian studies, with experience teaching numerous courses in music, language, literature, and history at the University of Colorado Boulder and at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She also served as a library and archives assistant in the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center, where she aided patrons with research and translation of English and Swedish language materials.
