Neurodiverse & Disabled Faculty & Staff Meet and Greet

Wednesday November 29th 3-4:30

DiMenna Nyselius Library Room 101

Light refreshments served

In keeping with Fairfield University’s mission to “…[celebrate] the God-given dignity of every human person…”, and the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, we are attempting to gauge interest in an affinity group for disabled and neurodivergent faculty, staff, and allies. Please join us for an informal meet-and-greet on Wednesday, November 29th from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM in the DiMenna-Nyselius Library Room 101. The purpose of this gathering will be to offer community to one another, advocate for our needs on campus, help students who may struggle with the same conditions, and help our colleagues better understand and interact with disabled and neurodivergent students and colleagues.

This meeting is open to Fairfield University faculty and staff who identify as disabled or neurodivergent (autism spectrum, ADHD, Down syndrome, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, dyspraxia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, and other conditions), and allies.
