Integrity & Innovation: Navigating AI at Fairfield

Date: 12-06-2023

Time: 05:00 PM

Location: Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab (DiMenna-Nyselius Library, Room 250)

In collaboration with the Center for Academic Excellence, the Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab invites all Fairfield University community members to a panel discussion that explores the multifaceted role of AI as viewed by Fairfield students and faculty.

The student's voice is largely missing in the cacophony of the AI discourse in higher education. The diverse panel, consisting of students from undergraduate to graduate levels and faculty in various disciplines, will engage in an open-ended dialogue examining AI's potential, limitations, implications to academic integrity, and intersection with learning and teaching at Fairfield.

Whether you are an AI enthusiast, skeptic, or agnostic, your voice matters. We encourage you to bring your questions and insights and contribute to a candid conversation that will challenge, enlighten, and inspire.

This is an FYE Inspire event but all Fairfield faculty, students, and staff are welcome. RSVP required.
